Christmas is approaching, and that means that all of the beauty brands are coming out with gift sets! I love gift sets for multiple reasons: 1 - I can purchase them for other people, and everyone in my life is getting multiple gifts…at a decent cost for me! 2 - I can stock up on some of my favorite items, or items that I have been wanting to try, at a discounted price or sample size. 3 - hellllooo cute, limited edition packaging.
Regardless what your goal is when purchasing some of these sets, I think that we can just all agree that they are a good thing to see at our favorite stores. With every brand releasing multiple sets, it can be hard to narrow it down. I have listed below for you my top gift sets from Sephora, to purchase for yourself or your loved ones, this holiday season.
1 - DryBar Full Size Faves. This set has a few of DryBar’s top products, in full size at a discounted price. Full size and saving money? Yes please! This set includes their Prep Rally Prime & Prep Detangler, Detox Dry Shampoo and Triple Sec texture and volume spray. I have tried many of DryBar’s products when I get a blow out done by them. and I’ve yet to find something that didn’t work with my hair. For this set in particular, I have only tried their Triple Sec texture and volume spray…and it has my heart. I plan on purchasing this kit for that spray, and as an opportunity to try out the other two products.
2 - Quai Swing Both OUAIs Kit. I am all for this set for the discount. I have only tried two Quai products, their foam dry shampoo and their wave spray (love them both), and I have heard so many good thing about other products that they have, but every time I go to purchase something from them, I just have a hard time justifying the price. This set includes both their Hair Oil and their Texturizing Hair Spray. I have heard great reviews about both products, and for a $38.00 discount, now is the time to try them out.
3 - Quai Three OUAI Kit. This kit has the two products that I already know I love from Quai, their foam dry shampoo and their wave spray. Add in a volume spray, and make them all mini, for $25.00…this is such a good value. The clips are just a bonus on top! This is great for you to try out the brand, or to give as a gift to someone. They are receiving 4 products, and it is at such a good price point for you!
4 - Belif Merry Merry Moisturizers. As you may know from my skin care routine blog, I am in love with the Belif True Cream Moisturizing Bomb. I went in a couple of weeks ago to stock up, and I found this gift set gem. It comes with the full size of the Moisturizing Bomb, a sample eye cream and a sample sleeping mask, all for the same price as the normal moisturizer! So you are basically getting the sample eye cream and sample sleeping mask for free. But don’t let the samples fool you, I have used the eye cream every night for the past two weeks, and it is still full (BTW I love it and plan on purchasing it once my sample runs out). I have also used the sleeping mask 3-4 times and it barely looks touched. Don’t sleep on this set, it is a great way to sample some amazing products.
5 - Sephora Favorites Holiday Perfume Sampler. So the first time I saw this, I didn’t know the concept behind it, and I just thought that Sephora was charging people $65.00 for some perfume samples, and I was convinced they they were off their rocker. BUT…that’s not what this is. This gift set includes a voucher for a free full sized bottle of your favorite perfume, that is included in these sample sizes. This is a great gift if you want to get someone a perfume, but you’re not sure what scent they want. Or if you are on the hunt for a new perfume yourself, this isn’t a bad deal either! All of the perfumes offered are either the same price or more expensive then the $65.00 price point for this box. Kat Von D coming in at the same price point, and everything else being more expensive…up to $108.00 for a normal sized bottle. Even if you are not on the hunt for a new perfume, this is a great purchase to make for a discount on your normal perfume, plus some samples to try out others. Pppssstt….ladies…this set also comes in colognes for the men in your life.
6 - Bareminerals Ethereal Nudes 6 Piece Mini Lip. Although Bareminerals lip products are loved, I don’t think that they are loved enough. They truly have one of the best liquid lip formulas on the market, and their glosses are amazing too. This set is perfect for all of the nude lipstick lovers in your life. It includes three different formulas of six mini nude colors. This gift set is great for an everyday lip kind of girl, and for $29.00 it’s also an amazing deal.
7 - Velour Lashes Lash Vanity. This is a gift for all of my lash QUEENS!! Velour lashes are expensive, but that is because they are gooood. Also, keep in mind you can wear the same pair multiple times. This set includes some of the brand’s top lashes, in all different styles. It also includes a glue and a lash applicator. (Pro-tip, these lash applicators are my secret weapon for getting lashes right up against the lash line every. single. time.) It also includes an amazing case that you can continue to use to store all of your lashes. This gift is pricey, but considering the price for a single pair of Velour Lashes, this comes out to be a really good deal at a $90.00 savings.
8 - SmashBox Always On Matte Liquid Lipstick Vault. This is for all of the lip lovers out there. If you are looking for a gift for someone who loves wearing lipsticks, both nude and bold, look no further, this is the gift for them! This set includes 15 different liquid lipsticks, in an array of colors. When priced out, this set is discounted $125.00! If you have a crazy lip lover in your life, or if you’ve just been itching to try out some different colors yourself, this is a great option.
